I believe I have a set of 98+ JDM ITR mirrors. I'm 99% sure they came off a set of JDM ITR doors. Could anyone help me identify/confirm them? On the bottom it says Honda along with some Japanese writing above this. I was just going to trade them for some CW mirrors, but if they are power folding mirrors they should be worth some $ on ebay.

look at the angle and the magnification of the JDM mirrors in relation to your USDM mirrors. it will be different a different angle and magnification on the left site, and I think the right side also.

i put JDM ek9 mirrors on my USDM 99 hatch and couldn't see dick out of the US driver side mirror anymore.

my friend has a USDM DC2 left side mirror on his RHD JDM ITR and he can't see dick out of that one either because the magnification is all jacked up.

folding mirrors will have more wires than standard non-folding mirrors. so look at your USDM mirrors and count the wires, then look at the JDM mirrors and see if they have any more wires.

 

Hmm. I'll go look at the magnification. I just noticed the rubber boot says "Honda, EPDM", so I may have answered my own question.

The "harness" has 3 pins and 8 sockets, so I'm not sure about that. When I got the ITR doors put on, my friend @ the bodyshop refused to wire up the mirrors because of complications, but that may have been because of the difference in years.

Edit: the driver's side (JDM?) mirror seems to magnify a lot more than my stockers. I might have to go borrow my friend's Canon just to clear up this mystery.
