All Motor / Naturally Aspirated No power adders

can this sohc setup run around 14's ???

Default can this sohc setup run around 14's ???


1. d16a6 block, rods, crank
2. d16z6 head, stock valvetrain, and milled a little to resurface.
3. pm6 pistons
4. obd1 conversion with stock p28 (5spd manual transmission)
5. crx si tranny with a pretty strong clutch, I think its act... (last owner told me)
6. 59300 Zex cam
7. d16Y8 gasket
8. ARP head studs
9. b18b1 TB
10.d16z6 IM (port matched for TB)
11. Megan racing header
12. I currently have 2" exhaust without a catalitic converter...

I will buy an adjustable camgear to play with the timing a little........ And the engine will be rebalanced, it will also have new bearings

I had a
D16y7 block (stock)
d16z6 head (59300 cam, springs)
Skunk 2 manifold
OBX LSD
Thats about it.
I ran a 14.6 in a eg.

i would say mid 14s. i had the same car and there farily quick wit a single cam in there. i would waste any one up hill so much pull with it being light i loved it

Since ZC rods are longer, can I use them with pm6 in a d16 to bump the compression a little ?
