this is a 91 rex si with a 99 obd2 gsr with very low miles. it worked fine for 300 miles and this just started. brand new clutch and fly. all connectors are tight and grounds are good.

Is the check engine light on, are you throwing any codes? Are you going faster than 26 mph? Check all wiring again.

test pipe, one code but its for the second o2 sensor and its just a polarity issue, oil level is good and you can hear it kick on it works fine sometimes it seems to act up in like 3 and 4th and by act up i mean lag in the high top end 7-8k like the clutch is not adjusted right. but that does not explain y it works sometimes

are you using the GSR manifold with IAB's? If so are you using a PR3 ECU? If so you're secondaries aren't opening

VTEC should be engaging at 4400 RPM and the intake manifold should be opening the short runners at 5750 RPM with a P72 ECU. It sounds like the intake manifold is not functioning properly.
