Default DEI Python 460HP alarm for $430 installed, rip off?

I wanted to get a reality check before i install this alarm. So i found a guy who installs alarms/remote starters etc. hes been doing this for a long time apparently. I have a '95 honda accord with power locks and windows. I asked this guy how much it would cost me to install an alarm with keyless entry, and he gave me this price:

DEI Python 460HP - $179 including labor BUT to add keyless entry - $100 per door (includes parts and labor), $100-150 to add remotre trunk opener. So the total for alarm, remote door opener (drivers side only) and trunk opener - $430!

Is this normal? Why does it cost so much to add keyless entry? i already have power locks and windows... he says he would need to install door lock actuator to move the lock and that costs money.

thank you in advance.

if your car already has power locks they do not need to install new ones.
Go somewhere else to have it done

i would need to get a lock actuator for the trunk, since it opens manually by pulling a handle inside the car or with the key. Is it hard to install one myself?

Car alarms are Somthing you need to have done by someone with experience, i dont know much about that car alarm but most car alarms are wired into the ignition and what not

Get it done by a professional that way if anything goes wrong, they fix it for free

Is that 460HP to the wheels or the crank?

OK on a serious note like they said go to a professional. $430 is rediculous. I had a DEI alarm installed for $100 by a buddy of mine and $200 on another occasion (different alarm of course) from a shop and it had remote start, door locks and all that jazz. Places like Best Buy or circuit city do it for free if you buy the alarm from them. I think... If not free they give you a discount on installation. But like they said, go to a shop so if something goes wrong they fix it for free.

Yea I agree, you don't need actuators for the doors since they are already powered. But either way, even with a manual trunk pop changed to power, $430 is definitely too much. I'm in Canada and I wouldn't even pay anything near that in CAD!
