Bank angle sensor (F4i)
Ok so, in reference to my fuel pump problem previously, I noticed that my bank angle sensor was broken. Instead of creating a bypass for the harness, i went ahead and ordered a new one which should arrive wednesday or thursday.
i have installed a used 06 fuel pump with a new gasket and when i hit the ignition switch, the pump did not prime.
My two guesses are that the battery didnt have enough power to prime the pump (low charge from trying to start it multiple time) OR that the lack of a bank angle sensor is causing the pump to stay inactive.
My question is:
Does having a broken or no bank angle sensor cause the pump to not turn on?
Im assuming yes but I want to make sure so that theres not some other problem im not seeing.
Thanks
