Default Dx to SI wiring question?

I know to convert dpfi to mpfi you need the injector resistor box and 4 injector plugs off an si right?? But my question is can you get the resistor box and plugs off any honda with mpfi or does it have to be from a 88-91 civic/crx si?????? Also i have a integra ecu i want to use with my si engine, will the teg ecu work well with the si engine??

If its a 6 ohm box, as I believe all the 88-91 honda mpfi. I got mine from an Intergra. They come in several versions inculding a finned heat sink or a sheet metal box.

you can use the resistor box and the ECU of the 88-89 integra but the 4gen Si ECU will work better with this conversion. i've heard the integra ECU runs rich. also you need the Si distributor, injector wiring harness, and complete intake manifold (if you don't already know)

rich means there is too much fuel and not enough air in the fuel/air mixture

lean means there is too much air

either is bad for your gas mileage and hurts performance also

it only makes sense to use the 4gen Si ECU since it is a dx to Si conversion

people want to hear about what you KNOW not what you've HEARD.
the Integra ecu will work fine in the conversion. if you come to find it does run rich, just buy a fuel pressure regulator/riser and compensate for it. but in everyday driving, it will be better than the Si ecu, it'll feel "peppier". good luck

the si does work btter ive tried both the teg ecu runs ways rich killed 4 o2 sensors before i switched to the si and it ran rich untill i got a afc to mess with teh fuel curve so its running slightly rich now before it was 5 bars into the rich on a af gauge

i think you're right...come to think of it, my friend has a 92 Si hb and his doesn't have an injector resistor cuz the injectors are saturated...
