Default USDM 98 Integra Type R

I'm thinking on puting a K20A (JDM Type R) motor into a USDM 98 ITR. My question is, how much does an USDM ITR weights??

Around 2639lbs, when equipped with air conditioning.

So swap a stock motor with the same damn motor? Genius idea.

I think he means that you should swap for teh mad tyte jdm motor with a few more horsepower

for the money he spent on that, he could have a fully built USDM ITR motor.

The thing is that I already have the K motor, and my friend is selling me his ITR without engine.

I don't understand how attaching a cordless phone to a engine block is going to raise horsepower at all. Please explain.

I thought about that, but I'm going to be doing time attack on this car, not drag racing and I think a B20/vtec is not going to be as reliable as a K20A.

This is an easy question to answer. You will not be disappointed with the power of a K.

Booooo! 240hp my ***! Why does everybody in Cali want to do a ghetto-*** B20/VTEC swap? Geez! Especially to a Type R? C'mon.

To the OP: Throw that K in there! It has so much potential. Buy that ITR shell. You won't be sorry! As long as it's a K20A-R and not the A2. A2's are not worthy of being in a Type R!!!

bwhahahahahaha. VTEC R.. "silence is golden."

soob, what are you talkin about? there is no way you get 240 hp from a cr/vtec + its ghetto, unreliable, and is pointless when hes already got the k20a.

it doesnt matter how much the ITR will weigh, your car will still rip. btw do you have the k20a longblock or the full swap? dc2+k20a = endless smile.
