Tranny rebuild suggestions.
Well, I am done with my brakes now I have to start thinking tranny refresh. Here's the plan, ACT ProLite FW, ACT clutch kit, 4.7 JDM FD, JDM 1st gear.
Aside from these things, what else should I consider doing/replacing once the tranny is off the car ?? Synchros ?? what else ??
BTW, there is really nothing wrong with my tranny (except for the dreaded 3rd gear grind we all hate). I just want to freshen everything up now that I'm going through the hassle of pulling it off to install the clutch and FD.

I just went down this road.
It would be a good idea to replace some of the bearings and seals while you are in there, and check clearances. Contact Dave (SMSP), he sells rebuilt kits that contain bearings and synchros set (I think seals too, if not most of them can be gotten at Autozone or other car parts stores). You cant just buy the 3rd gear synchro by itself from Honda (or Dave), you will need to buy the 3/4 set. Also, the B16 3/4 synchro set from Honda is the same as the ITR, and its cheaper. If you need any gearing, the B16 gearing is the same ratios, but I have not been able to confirm if the gears fit the ITR tranny or not. I need a 4th gear and I happened to order the B16 4th gear because its cheaper, so Ill know if it fits when it gets here. If it doesnt fit, Ill just send it back.
Chances are if you have a 3rd gear grind, you may need the synchro sleeve and possible 3rd gear as well if the dog teeth are chewed up at all. You wont know that until you get in there though. Gearspeed will sell individual synchros if you want but they do not have any in stock until atleast the end of November.
If you need any help let me know, its all still fresh in my mind as Im still waiting for my parts to arrive.
