problem installing side skirt?

Default problem installing side skirt?

hey sup... my friend bought a body kit for his car and asked me to help him out.... when i put it on... it was like 1/4 in short. the place he bought the kit from told him that he need to remove the oem side skirt to be able to put this side skirt on......

now i instill one b4 and i didnt have to do this.... my friend car is a 97 accord installing a blk widow kit.....

my main question is that do have to remove that to install it.. bcuz from looking at it... dont u need the oem side to install this kit... i mite be wrong.. thankz for ur help...

Remove the stock piece and see. If it still doesn't work, send it back!

If you mean the OEM side skirt the Accord has, yes you would most likely have to remove that in order to install the new side skirts. I have never heard of a case where you leave the OEM side skirts and add a new side skirt w/ it.

don't expect it to be a bolt on affair with most of the cheap part around, the mold of your sideskirt probably cranked out hundreds every month

my friend went back to the company to talk to them... they told him he hav to remove his oem sides to put the blk widow on.... also i have another friend told me that he got teh same kit and say that its have to be remove and custom fit on the side..... body kit are pain in teh butt......
