Yeah, I'm just worried about needing to use the wiper and not having it ..

ask you self this question.... how many times have you actually used it?

and think about all the other cars in the world that dont have it, they seem to drive fine without it, maybe you can too.

I'd say yeah go ahead and do it if you're going to shave other parts of your car too. If not I'd just leave it as is imo.

Ok, it's going away. Time to go buy some argon to weld the hole up

I think I'm gonna shave the antenna too. Mine is broken, I'll just get one that goes in the back window from radio shack or something.

Shave it. I live in Oregon where it rains 360 days a year, and my std hatch doesn't have a rear wiper. Never missed it. If you want to save yourself the trouble welding the hole, get a hatch off of a std at a junkyard.

I have an Hf and never had that option. Every time I leave in the mourning my rear window is all blocked up. I just wipe it off but eventually it fogs up. I'm screwed there too because my rear defogger doesn't work but thats not the point. it looks a lot cleaner without it and all you need to do is get a rag or squige from pepboys or something. definitly take it off you won't miss it.

I started building a CX which does not have a rear wiper. I thinks it looks cleaner like that. I use some special window wax when it rains. rain-X seems to work quite well too.

I shaved the rear wiper, washer nozzle and antennae on my CRX. They're actually small enough that i didn't need to weld up the holes. Since I was doing bodywork to the car already, I used fiberglass and resin on the hole. Then some bondo to smooth it out.

Show us pix when you're finished!

I guess you already made up your mind, but i would miss my rear wiper like crazy. When its cold and rainy the last thing i want to do is stand there and wipe off my rear hatch.

why dont you just get some spray touchup paint, sandpaper, and primer, and paint the plug white? Would be cheaper than a fill and not noticeable from afar

HB, yes. CRX, no. The HB one was SOOOO annoying with one speed. It was always too fast or too slow. I just stopped using it, so it went with the paint. BUT, RainX it without a wiper. After Rainx, I try not to use the front wipers. RainX is THE BEST. Later, Overkll
