Default Few creations for this week

Tube ( 16ga ) topmount, turbo will be fully supported with a heim joint setup. For the two major people that helped me out, answering all my questions and dealing with me, I know I could be a burden at times . Thank you, you really don't know how much I appreciate it.

good to see it welded up. are you going to form the collector to fit the flange?

We are working on that actually, the collector forms a little gap specially around the edges, and on 16ga even the smallest gaps are hard to fill in. So yeah we are still working on that.

mrbsponge thank you

More pictures of the 16ga weld, the welds have great pentration which is what I was going for, I'll be the first to admit they don't look as pretty as the sch10 but the main goal for this manifold was to have great pentration so the manifold holds up. What good is a pretty looking weld, if half the manifold is laying on the floor in pieces.

I love the way it flows so smoothly. I think some people get caught up in not having to cut bends too many times like when using pipe.

Good work.

The collector had a few issues, that's why it does look like that. I did not want to polish the manifold yet, because I wanted to post colored pictures of the welds.

Thanks though

What size pipe do you use? 1.0"
I am starting welding school soon and would like to make a manifold just for practice when I get in.

How close are the runners in length to each other? Were you going for a specific length as well?

For this one not really, but compared to other designs we have seen, this one is more equal length. Runners 2 and 4 are pretty similar if you look at them, and runners 1 and 3 are also similar.
