Ok im swapping a frankenstien in my crx si.
And i just wanted to make sure I have everything not and not forgetting
anything.
When i say integra im talking about the DA

-Complete engine/tranny (hydro)
-All the swap mounts/w hydro conversion
-Special shift linkage
-Integra clutch cable
-Axles
-Ecu
-4pin O2
-vtec activator
-vtec oil pressure
-knock sensor
-integra throttle cable
-resister box for obd 1 injectors
-integra brakes all around/w proportion valve
and everything else to it
-brembo's blankes with ceramic pads
-Distributor, starter, altenator
-Wiring harness with all the plugs
-Kamakazi 4-1 headers


I also want to get the complete suspension bushing kit, but for
some reason I can't find the ones any more that have the engine
mount inserts any more.

And as soon as I get that setup running im gonna start hunting for more parts
like the b16 tranny/w lsd, b16 head/w type r cams and the gsr block.
(poor mans type r)

But for now I just need to get this working.

Ive done other swaps before, usually the same family. A few sohc zc's d16...
Also worked on a few dsm's.
Just never done a swap (upgrade) before.

So do you see anything that im missing in my setup?

nah i had one before but anyways Knock sensor u wont need one unless u use a GSR/B16 ecu I used p28 wit b16 basemap, u can use stock si engine harness and if u gonna use obd1 injectors cut the injectors plugs from obd1 n use on obd0 harness, then get rid of the resistor box and connect all the wires from together and vtec activator!? NO your ecu should already come vtec if not chip it up lol hmm lets see u gonna need midshaft either 90-93 or 94-+, which axles are u running?

 

Im running stock axles from the integra. Its a gsr head.
Is there any sensors on the car or anything I need to make sure
and get as well. The car is being completly parted out.
And whatever I need for the swap, is gonna be there.

And at first I was gonna buy the wire harness of off hasport for 80
bucks, but I figured since this is a gsr head in non-vtec car.
I should be able utilize the wiring from that and use on my crx.

But im confused on a few cable like the throttle cable and the clutch cable.
If im running the hydro tranny which one do I want to use the one from
the integra. And what about the throttle body?

Use the throttle cable from the DA. You can also use the clutch cable from your crx instead of the DA unit.

Whats all that im going to need to run OBD-1 injectors on the b18
in my crx?


And how hard would it be make a conversion harness from the 0BD-0 to the
OBD-1.

you'll just need to eliminate your resistor box and swap the injector plugs from your car with the B18's

 

How important is it or usefull is it to get the ecu jumper for the obd0-1 kit.
It shouldn't be too hard to make should it?
And what about other brands that make them besides rywire.
What about ebay or other places (some help to where to go would be good)

Is there any differances in them? I mean no ones gonna sell you something
that doesn't work. Right?
