power steering line cracked when I was beating a EVO
I was racing a evo at the races and my power steering line cracked the one that bolts on the pump it cracked on the metel part. so now I took off the whole power steering system until I can find a new line
but hey I beat the evo he jumped to a 2 car lead on me but I got him at the finish line by 2-3 cars on my heavy *** GSR it has full Interior 2 12" subs and 16" wheels
I put down 240whp and 190ft@ 7psi
stock motor with turbonitics t3/t4 kit

ohh sorry how do I take off that line I took everything off but that line It looks like go's inside of the car??

the line goes down behind the motor to the steering rack. and its a bitch to do if you dont have a lift.
i think i have an extra line lying around here somewhere

well mine is off of a 99si, the racks are different but i think the fittings are still the same. i need to check

Put a WTB ad in the marketplace, or search for a while in teh FS area. You're bound to find someone who removed powersteering from his teg. Also get a box of rags and some nice tubing wrenches (extra torque surfaces), since its a messy job and the line ends are always rusted or stuck.

damn, you cracked a ps line beating that evo?? surprised you didnt blow the welds on your manifold too.
