So, I ordered a new Civic today
Hi there
I am a new member on here and today I ordered a new Civic sedan; here in New Zealand we have 1.8s, 1.8 Sport, 2.0s, 2.0 Sport and the hybrid. Sedans are the only ones available at the moment; coupes are not likely (have never had new Civic coupes here) and hatches are a way off yet.
Turns out supply of them is a way off yet; having ordered today, Hondas computer states that guaranteed delivery will be June 2007. The dealer says this is through yards falsely ordering just to get them on the lot.
I have ordered a 2.0s, in quicksilver. This has leather interior, sunroof, automatic, fog lights, 15" alloy wheels, cruise coontrol and 6 stack mp3 cd. I'm really looking forward to it.

I don't know the ins and outs of the bits on it yet, but I looked up the engine number on the vin and it says "K20Z....."
From what I have seen in the photo gallery, it has the same front end and interior as the Northern Hemisphere, but different tail lights. The wheels are also different - those Si rims you guys get look very nice.

if someone over there wrecks one, u should put the dash and steering column and everything else needed to do a RHD swap to someone on the board!!!! and if its rear ended, the front cap as well. looks clean for a 4 door. enjoy
