Well, I am really considering to get a radar detector and I heard Valentine 1 is the best one. I have looked in some stores around here such as Best Buy, Circuit City, and High Fi Buys, but they don't carry Valentine 1. If you guys could please tell me where you got yours, and how much, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

 

I believe you need to purchase it directly from Valentine industries in Ohio? They keep track of all owners. They do not allow parts/assecories or updates unless you can verify the owner of the particular unit. I tried to buy just the little suction cups for a friends that I borrowed and I need to verify the owner. Pretty cool, supposed to help keep down on theft.

mine had a chit fit and started falsing like crazy...a year after my warranty expired i send in the 40 or 50 dollar service charge to have it fixed...they fixed it for free.
