I have an 01 Civic. I recently purchasded this car, and have noticed that there is a pronounced "roar" coming from the front of the car. I just replaced the tires yesterday thinking that the old worn out tires had something to do with it. The noise is still there. It gets louder the faster you go. What else would cause a noise like this? Alignment maybe? Thanks

 

perhaps you are over-inflated? i'd check that.

 

could also be wheel bearings. not sure quite how to check it, or how common this is on honda's but owning vw's i know all about it.

 

Ok i will check into that. I thought for some reason that wheel bearings made a ratteling kind of sound when they were bad....could be wrong.
