Default hard staring...

is the FPR responsible for the car to start so poorly...still starts..but it takes an xtra 2 sec....its a brand new starter..it feels like is choking

Hmmmm? 85 accord Sei will have starting problems if the Fuel Pressure Regulator is bad.

Since you havn't gotten much help.
What the kids are trying to say is you need to post your year model and trim level to be able to help out more.

#1 you shouldn't choke your car
#2 Be sure to turn the key to the "on" position for a few seconds before starting it to make sure the fuel system has adequate pressure.

97 lx gets pissed when it has like less than 1/4 tank of gas, same symptom, i dunno if maybe this is the same thing, or if you have plenty of gas while its acting up, but its a thought... its really stubborn about it.

well i changed the FPR..i am about to change the fuel filter...but i still get the same response when i try to start the car..takes a bit and then kicks in...it has a brand new starter doesn't have a month yet..battery is decent i bought it when i bought the car doen't have a year..any suggestions...? do i have to check the altenator? or did i messed up something please help...
