Props to Honda Canada
Just wanted to give a shout out to Honda Canada for their excellent customer service. I had an issue with the CD/Enviro panel lighting on my 2003 Accord. After working with the dealership, Honda Canada offered to look after the repair bill. Props to Honda!
My experience has been if you are firm, reasonable, and polie, Honda will in some cases 'goodwill' extended warranty coverage for all or part of the repairs.
I've only needed this twice in over 15 years of owning Hondas.

There's more to it then just that, the local honda dealer loves to deny honda-care/warranty. It's so bad to a point that I will not even bother to ask/bring my car there.
There's a good sized minority group around pasadena and i know there's a dealer will just deny almost everything, especially if you don't speak perfect English/immigrant. Sad but true

they have one guys that speaks chinese and all he's doing is make everything sounds complex so the poor guy that doesn't understand english feels bad.
they dodged so much work(that suppose to be covered under warranty) that way i felt kind of bad for the people getting bend over.
"oh, sir. brake pad is just wear item, even at 11k miles."
I dont mind driving farer or pay more if i find a dealer that do honest work/take care of me. seriously

Goodwill coverage is NOT determined by a dealer. You need to follow the steps outlined in your owners manual. The dealer gets paid for his services either way and has nothing to gain by pleading your case for you to Honda customer relations.
