check engine question
Hey, so ive got a 97 lx, mostly stock... check engine light came on and i was just told that there is a recall on the sensors that trigger the light, applied to All 97 lx 2.2l with under 150,000 miles... any truth to this, and what process should i do to take care of it?
Thanks peoples!

Emmision warranty extension: 150,000 miles or 14 years. Most causes of the cel coming on are covered. Take it to the dealer.

Not just the guy's explanation. They can get pretty 'creative'...
If you go to the dealer, it all depends on what the code is, and mostly on what your 'couple other little things' really are. If they want to deny warranty coverage, they need to have a plausible explanation for why your mods would cause the problem. I can think of a few situations where they could legitimately deny coverage.
