i kno 88-89 and 90-91 CRX gauge clusters are different shape and different wiring...

i got a 89 DX gauge cluster from a junkyard...my 88 SI water temp gauge is broken....would i be able to just swap my SI out for the 89 DX?

redline is same, but only thing i see differend is the seat belt not on warning light in different location....if not i can just swap the temp and fuel gauge out rite?

i think that it is doable. i went from dx to sir and they are completely diferent. just get both wiring diagrams and have fun with it.

 

i kno u can rewire it but i was just wondering would it be a direct swap? if its not a direct swap i was going to just take the temp and fuel gauge section out and swap it onto mine...

 

anyone know how to take off the needles from the gauges?

Do the plugs look the same??? I wouldnt see y it wouldnt work if they have the same plug ins.....but I might be wrong....swap it out real quick and find out
