Ok i heard that u can read the yr and month that block was produced by the head

89???? and the month was the 8th? so august am i reading this right

Making sure cuz im getting a b20b 2marrow from a Depot and well they say its a 99 so i juss want to make sure. i dont want to buy a 96-98 one i want the 99+ with the higher compression and better TQ and HP. i kno it has a knock sensor that will make it easier to see that its a B20z or B20B 99 UP but juss incase it was cut or w/e i juss want to kno how to read it dont want to get ripped off from a Import Depot so yea if im reading it wrong or anyone else has a pic so i can see another example as well.It would greatly help thanks Honda-tech sry if this is such a noob question or is a repeat but need to kno and if im reading it right and have another example so i can see another one so i dont get mixed up or anythning i really dont want to rip off myself
