Default Momo hub removal?

I'm trying to install my new NRG short hub and quick release and I need to remove the momo hub that was installed by the previous owner. It seems like that thing is really stuck on there good (I had removed the center bolt, put the wheel back on, and pulled like crazy).

I had also read that a steering wheel puller is no help to me in this case.

Does anyone have any tips so I can get this momo hub off and get my shiney new NRG pieces on?

Thanks!

seems like Edmonton's climate strikes again....

I had the same issue on my Civic that came from...you guessed it...Edmonton.

I removed the center bolt, put the steering wheel back on... sat in the seat...palms facing me and hit the back of the steering wheel violently at the 9 and 3 positions.....till it popped off and nearly hit me in the face....

keep the center nut slightly threaded to avoid this steering wheel deployment....

I'd say it took me a good 10mins of doing this before it finally gave.... my hands hurt the next day....

If there's a better way...I'd really like to know about too
