Zex or Exospeed cams?
I use JG cams for the SOHC build up I do. ZEx is just way to expensive.(thats the main drawback, not that they arent a respectable co.) Why spend that much on one cam?

I dont see any thing about his zex cam in his website.... for 200bucks, the exospeed cam looks very promising, I read somewhere that it is very similar to a JG cam.
I wouldn't be too hard on regrinds.
Crower for instance claims that their cams exceed factory cams for hardness but for the DOHC Vtec cams this CANNOT be true. Crower does not nitride their cams so there is no way they can come even close the the surface hardness of the Honda factory cams which are nitrided. So in a sense Crower cams are "re-grinds" with the proper base circle.

I had a Gude regrind in my CRX for over 100,000 miles with no problems. Being a physically smaller cam than new - it was a little more difficult to adjust valves because the adjuster screws were screwed in farther- but nothing I couldn't work around.
GO WITH EXOSPEED
I have an Exospeed cam and I love it...I can't wait to get my clutch broken in to start mashing on it again ;-)
I don't have any experience with any other cams, so I can't really say any comparisons, but for the price you can't beat it! Not to mention the great customer service...go w/ the exospeed!
