Default a few quetions about what clutch flywheel i should use in my swap?

Im looking at getting a gsr motor and tranny this next weekend. im going for an "oem" build w/ just a skunk2 intake manny and header. im wondering what weight flywheel and stage clutch i should run? the car will be mostly daily driven. and should i use an aftermarket pressure plate or can i just use the gsr? what would be the advantages of an aftermarket one over stock, thanks

OEM clutch and flywheel will work fine if you are going for just a basically stock street car.

i was thinking more like an 8.5ish lbs flywheel stage 2 clutch or perhaps 3 and stock pressure plate!

just get one of the exedy oe replacements. supposedly holds about 10% over stock and a stock clutch will hold fine with your plans. for daily purposes, i'd go with an 11lb flywheel.

i'd go with a flywheel thats not too light, and probably a stage 1 clutch, you dont need a stage 3 on a stock motor.

You don't need Stage 2/3 if you gonna run a stockish setup and its daily driven.

I liked my Exedy Stage 1 with Exedy flywheel (8.5lbs.) Only thing is it will take a little getting used too. Throttle feels more sensitive (b/c its easier to rev), RPMs drop more, but for me its more annoying when you're daily driving/in traffic and not as annoying when you're at redline.

And you mine as well use all new stuff because the clutch kit isn't crazy expensive and its more work if your GSR pressure plate takes a **** soon.
