Default no vtec.. all the info youll need to help me is right here.

ok well i have no vtec. the motor is a fully built Ls/vtec turbo running on aem ems. some motor background.... the motor was working fine then i spun a bearing . after it spun the bearing i replaced all LMA's and put in dual valve springs and retainers.(maybe somewhere during this process something went wrong??).. i did that because i thought that the lma's went bad.

here are the things that i know for certain..
i replaced the entire solenoid
it is wired correctly and is getting power at the right times/rpm
the solenoid DOES open when vtec is supose to engage but vtec does not crossover or engage.
when this happens i can watch the oil pressure drop just like it would if vtec where engaging.
it is not the pressure switch
yes i have plenty of oil pressure
last known time that vtec worked was before the LMA/springs/retainer.. install

things i dont know
i have no knock sensor but i dont believe AEM needs it to run vtec seeing how the solenoid does open at proper time it just wont engage.
could the bearing material ,from when i spun a bearing, have worn out the journals so that they are too big?? ( this makes no sense to me but someone mentioned it)

my thoughts on this are that maybe the rocker assembly was installed wrong during the LMA's/spring /retainer install and the lil pins are just not locking th erockers in place.on the vtec lobes?. ?? any other ideas? any one who is down to pull my head apart for me and find the problem for not a ridiculously high price?
