Default f22 (5th gen) acceleration mods

I'm looking for quicker acceleration on a 95 f22, but I don't want the stinking exhaust sound that goes along with it. Is there anything I can do like a flywheel or power pulleys that will help? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, so please don't suggest a supercharger. Thanks for any help.

pulleys dont do **** -- invest into a nice aem intake, dc header, and apexi ws exhaust...good sounding, quiet setup. how fast do you want to go?
what are your goals? what kind of budget? search...

Nevermind the search feature, scroll back a few pages in the forum, do some reading and then ask more specific questions

in order to play you gotta pay... . since you don't want to spend money the only mod that really helps is the intake

What do you consider a lot of money? If you want nice horsepower, and no additional sound, you have got to go inside your motor. Higher compression (by the way of pistons or a milled head) and a larger cam would help. However, you will need to open up the exhaust somewhat to get the full potential from the upgrades. The pulleys will only give you 1 to 2 hp extra. The flywheel will help with throttle response, so that is a good idea.

It is going to be hard to do this cheap, and without additional noise. Good luck.

No, my Durango doesn't have an f22, read the friggin title. and the search feature is pretty much useless, I've tried it many time before with minimal results. I'm sorry if it was too much to ask a simple question.

i/h/e do gain some hp but not enough to throw you back in your seat, you'll probably spend around $1000 for good quality i/h/e, so just spend $600 bucks on a nice wet 55 or so shot of nitrous and you'll feel the additional power.
