Default rod bearings

I have a sohc zc bottom end and a d16y8 head in my car, and i am trying to put new rod bearings in the bottom end because it is starting to knock. I called Honda and asked them for a d16a6 bearings and I gave them my vin number but they said I need to tell them what color they are. They said there is like 5 possible choices, anyone know which one i should use. Any suggestions? Please help Thanks alot

where can i get those bearings at and the plastiguage stuff? I work at a car dealership so i have acess to a lift and tools and i can get OEM Honda bearings at cost because i have a friend who works there, but they are trying to tell me there are like 5 different colors and i have to take my car all apart just too see what color they are. For some reson that sounds a little odd but oh well. Thanks for all the help. oh yea The chart seems not to be working.

Why isn't working? It's from my 1994 integra manual.

I've seen plastigage at Kragens.

To replace the rod bearings you can just pull the oil pan. There are 4 letters on the crank next to each rod journal and 1 number on each rod. Match up these letters to the numbers. So for example, you might have B1, C2, B1, B3. Compare these to the bearing chart and it will tell you the color of the bearings you'll need. Oh, and don't put in anything but OEM Honda bearings.

i wouldn't use any other rod bearings than OEM honda ones. they are worth the extra $$$.

all of the above is stated in my humble opinion. thanks.
