Bumper sockets have been ripped. Any way to salvage them?
I have an ex-friend that decided to rip my rear bumper off and not even offer a worthy penny to fix the damage he has caused. I am converting my kit to a stock kit, but this damaged eye part is the only thing really stopping me at the moment. Is there any way for anyone to weld this part back so it can give adequate support for a new bumper? The painters tape to hold the bumper in place now is really ghetto. Any remedies to alleviate this situation? Let me know what you guys think? Here are the pics.
This is what it is supposed to look like.

Weld them back on. Seems like its snapped because of rust damage. So might aswell fix the rust out of there.
I hope that it works. I tried the JB weld way, but either I f'd up the job or it didn't hold well. I fixed the pics too. They weren't working for some reason.
Remove those rubber strips on your rear fenders....rust likes that are. And I would try to weld to jb weld it back on as stated above or find a why to use a zip tie
Screw JB weld, it isnt gonna be that hard to make few spot welds with a mig and do it properly, not with some JB weld crap.
Cut the same shape out of a piece of sheetmetal, chop the old area off, MIG the new one on, grind, primer, and paint.
^^^^^^If you are going to go to all that effort why not just weld the broken piece?
Have you been watching too many I-car CD's?
Not that that wont work but that is WAY more work than you need to do...
