Just picked up a py R #528 living in Canada so I just joined my new family.
Question is I thought 2000 R's were only for the Canadian market and Black was
only for the U.S market according to Canadian Reviews, but I see so many on this board. Never seen a black one in Canada.

 

Nope PY was not exclusive to only Canadian market and no us Canadians were never offered the black ITRs. The ones you see that are black have been brought up from the States.

how much did u pay for it, and whats the mileage?? is it the one in the trader with the Cf hood?

 

Actually mine came with black suade seets with the red stiching...not sure if
is suppose to be red. They might have changed seats/colors in 2000 in
Canada. Got for 10700...only 78 000 kilom...It was a theft recovery...has many
upgrades to it already.

 

has no CF hood. Got it in Edmonton.

 

clayton bigsby has a set of reds for sale....and dayam are they expensive

 

$2,800 for front and rear with red suede MOMO steering wheel... Quite a pretty penny, but Damn do they look good.

Sounds like when your car got stolen, they replaced the stolen seats with USDM seats to be cheaper... You can pick up USDM ITR seats in decent condition for anywhere from $300-$600... Much cheaper than the CDM units.

i couldn't be happier that the usdm market didn't receive the red seats!

&lt;---- likes the black far better than the red.

The stock ITR is "boy racer" enough to those outside "the know," to have it come stock with red seats would have been a deal-breaker.

Only the 2001 CW models came with the red seats. I love em.
