lowering my 95 civic dx can anyone help?
i want to lower it a good ammount. id say at least up to 3 inches. has anyone done it? i want to do this as cheaply as possible. is there any cheap way? i know springs can lower it but usually people blow there shocks out when changing springs. let me know if or how it can be done. thanks guys
by the way i have aftermarket rims and tires. 15 inch with 50 serious tires 6.5 wide

if you lower your car 3 inches period your going to blow your shocks
and 3 inches at least?? it should be 3 inches at the most, there is no reason to lower your car more than that. it wouldnt be very drivable

Never been done before. Sorry we cant help. Please do NOT EVER CHEAP out on stuff for your car. EVER. Period. Replace sturts with some after market that are made to handle the lowering.

just go on ebay if you want to go cheap you get a strut and spring kit for like 250-300$ and it's drops like 2.5" (Dropzone i believe). But if you had money the best way would be to go with something worth the money, your car should always be worth it i think
I used skunk2 adjustable racing coilovers, droped my car 3 1/4 in the front and 2 3/4 in the back. I didn't replace my struts though, when they go I will put some skunk2 struts in there. The ride is kind of bumpy, but not to bad.
