Falken makes the Azenis RT-615. It probably has the best dry traction in any street tire available. It's wet traction lacks compared to other tires. They are expensive when you consider the limited life span of that tire. 12K is probably all you will see out of it, experiances vary of course.

Cheers.

What do you recommend for someone who daily drives 100% of the time and likes to go fast once in a while?

depends on your budget.

if you are on a budget go with the Kumho SPT

If your ok with money I would go with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 which are awesome on dry ( Azenis has a little more grip) and awesome in the rain.

Also if you don't mind the longavity of the Azenis go for them. I am going to purchase a set for auto-x only. I have the SPT for my daily driving.

kumho the only ONLY good kumho out there are victor-racer, the v700's way beter than azenis but its a competition tire, very $$$

goodyear egale f1's pretty much the best rain tires, very good on dry aswell but not a smooth ride.

azenis are great tires im running and love them every since the 215's were discontiued

but the hankook r-s2 are just as good as azenis but better in rain.

i think you should try those out. i hear nothing but good coments about them .... because i work at diescount tire co.

the hankook are better in the rain but nothing compared to the Azenis RT615 in the dry. They are the stickiest street tire out now.

Also Kumho tire are very good it just depends what you are looking for!

i dont really want to consider the azenis being know as sticky tires, more like very soft. but i agree one of the top 10 BEST dry condition tire out right now.

nitto has a new tire out the nitto NT-01 black, looks like a cross between the azenis 215's and the yokahama parada spec's.

i dont know anyone running them around here but i think that tire might be better then the azenis.
cool thing about that tire is that when you shave it down or wear it down to 4/32nd's it looks like a slick very cool if you ask me

I dont know what you mean by " good " tire because kumho's street tires arent aimed for pure performance, they are aimed at budget performance, as you can tell by the price difference.

I dont know why you are comparing the RT-615 with v700/v710s. Completely different class of tires.

would have to agree with you on that.......very different class of tires...falken is a much stickier tire on dry pavement then the hankook rs-2...i have run both and love the 615's for that reason but wanted to try out the rs-2 and not the same grip as the 615's........

You obviously don't know anything about tires, so please stop giving people BAD ADVICE. The NT-01 is an R compound track tire, and the Yokohama Parada Spec 2 is a crappy street tire. They are worlds apart.
