anyone add daytime running lights?
nope i find daytime running lights annoying.. i dont know why.. it just annoys me when I see it on saturns and VW's sometimes..nothng against those cars.. but it just annoys me I dont know why... If i wanted DRL's i could just turn on my headlights.. cuz if I forget to turn them back off when I turn off the ignition.. my alarm would alert me anyway...so I wouldnt be draining my battery or whatever... I wouldnt spend money to add DRL's tho.... I only use my lights when its foggy, rainy, cloudy/dark or night time.....
i kinda sorta somewhat did an "optional" DRL to my 2nd gen teggy...........i did the foglight rewiring mod that allows you to run the fogs independently of the headlights.
bleh....i know it's not true DRL's, but it does kinda set an enthusiast apart from someone who's got one just for transportation. kind of a "secret code" amongst many G2IC members; it's easy to spot someone who's into the scene if they've got the fogs rewired (it's a small detail, but that's what sets it apart).

daytime running lights are standard in Canada. Anyone add them to a US spec Integra?

if you have a 2nd gen integra, hit up http://www.g2ic.com for model-specific info. good shizzle and good people over there. i copied and pasted the instructions for this mod for ya:
The cool thing about this method is that you'll wire the fog switch to another switch so that you won't have to turn any lights on and cause your interior light (radio, clock) to dim during the day. You'll be concerned only with the fogs switch and the rear defogger switch right next to it.
Disconnect the battery.
O.K., both switches will pop out towards you with a screw driver. The fog switch has five wires, the defogger has six.
First, find the red/yellow wire in the FOGS switch. Cut this wire about 2" away from the switch.
Now take the cut wire that's STILL attached to the switch and splice it into the black/yellow wire of the Defogger switch.
You're done. Now cover up everything with electrical tape including the other parts of the cut red/yellow wire of the fogs switch and see if everything works. The fogs should come on/off independently of the defogger switch which means you DON'T have to mess with the defogger switch ever. Just turn off/on the fogs button anytime and they WILL turn off automatically when the ignition is off.
