I've been reading in the search area for about 30 mins and still am having trouble making up my mind. I want to go with H&R race springs and KYB AGX, but I keep hearing the KYB's will wear out with the H&R's.
What shock for around 350-450 will be good for H&R race springs?
It sounds like Koni yellows but I'm not too sure on good pricing for those.

Well, that's my boot with H&R race. I keep reading that the AGX's will blow out eventually with such a low spring. I'm thinking to tokico's will last longer with that low of a drop.

I've been looking at those. Aren't they around $800? I don't quite want to spend that much. that's why i'm leaning towards 450-500 with H&R race and illuminas. Maybe KYB. What about the Koni red? can it handle a low drop? Adjustability?

yep but the race lower 2.25 in the front and 2" in the back.
I have the neuspeed race which are pretty much similar. I have the Tokico Blue and they lasted 2 years but they are finished. I don't have the same performance I had when they were new. I posted a question about this a while back and got no response so I posted in the 92-00 civic section and got a much better turn out.
Archidictus said that I was lucky to have lasted that long on the blues. He told me that for the Neuspeed race I should go with the Koni Yellow as they are better suited for a lower drop. Also he wasn't the only one to mention that!
SO next spring I will be getting some Koni Yellow. I hope that helps!

If you want a shock you can change the springs with in the future, get the Koni's. If you want your car to look good use the stock shocks. AGX's are basicly stock replacements. Well maybe a 1/2 a step up from there.

Well, like I said, the koni's are a little more out of my price range.
Tokico's are in my price range. I'm not biased to them or anything, but adjustable shocks that perform well in this price range are what I'm looking for.

I went with the H&R / Tokico Illumina setup on my old hatch- I absoluetly loved it, and if it wasnt for the fact that i woud like to run a nice coilover setup on my new car i woudl go with it again- Good stuff
