think about this, looking at a picture of a car with coilovers.... how can you tell what coilovers are on the car?

seriously, did you think about that at anytime?

how low do they go, um, they are coilovers my friend, as low as you put them.

god.help.

They can improve your ride. The drop depends on the maker

That's what the coilovers would look like on your car.
They will go as low as your wheel well's allow.

(that's for sleepy red hatch)

the lower you go the more spring rate you want to prevent bottoming out either the shocks, springs, or other suspension arms, and with the higher rates comes additional harshness of the ride, but the quality of the damping of the shock will play a role in this. Better damping, better ride.

edit: (for your sake)you replied with a comment of;

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by instrument &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">think about this, looking at a picture of a car with coilovers.... how can you tell what coilovers are on the car?

Now, lets go over this and see what you should have said, or more importantly shouldn't have said.

Read again. He asked
do they rifde smooth? If you do not have personal real world experience please don't reply.

how low do they go?? Different systems give the ability to lower a certain amount. All have a limit. If you don't know then please don't reply.

any pix of a EK wit those on??He is simply asking if anyone who has this susp installed on their ek to post pictures.

He never said anywhere how low they can go, and to see how low, post pics.
People on H-T like you ruin this forum.

The again, I'd expect this from a 06 member.
And if you really are 28..... I have no comment.

And finally to the OP.
I'm sry I don't have any real world experience so I cant help you on this subject.

"do they ride smooth??? how low do they go?? any pix of a EK wit those on?? "

is exactly what he posted, in that order.

if you dont see where he's going with this post, then that's your fault.

yes i am 28, and have had civics/crx's since i was 17 and have had people reving on me in "DUMPED" **** boxes my entire life, and i am tired of getting pulled over and harrassed because of kids in their slow cars with giant exhausts.

and if you can't see how a picture of a car in no way represents the worth of a coil over system, then you are a complete idiot ******* pedro.

and don't waste my time with your bull **** im's. and after composing this and reading your myspace page, i can't believe i wasted the time to reply.

Yes I can see he posted that in this order. In case you did not notice, I am not blind.

I can see where he is going with this. And he isn't the first. Instead of being a dick try being informative.

And whats having crx's and civics have anything to do with ****?
And having people rev on you in dumped car for 11 years doesn't mean **** either.

The auto mechanics scene from day one has had rice, and until the last day will always have rice.
This is something your going to have to deal with.

I understand showing a pic means nothing, as every coil over system can make the car look the same. However Maybe he wanted pics of them installed with the wheels off. or what not who knows and who gives a ****. Its hard to believe your 28 years old.

Yes, I'm 17, and yes I have done my own motor swap, and modified my car. I worked my *** of to put 5G into my 90 integra and sure it looks like a pos. I dont care. I finally saved up for body and paint.
Its currently in the shop.

I love this forum. its so funny.

BTW. to the OP&gt; get a Koni/GC setup. IMO Best setup for your money.
Most auto-x drivers swear by this setup. Its overall perfect IMO.
