upgrades to a 96 htach
i am gonna be honest, my car is pretty slow as far as honda's go....its a 96 civic dx, and i dont have much engine mods yet, just a k&n air filter to give a few extra horsies, and i want some real power. I dont know if a turbo would help out all that much with a dx so what do u guys think?? anything else i can do to get some speed?? will headers help, or a cool air intake???? thanks
It'll depends on how fast you wanna go. A swap is always better if you're planning to go really fast but if u just one like a 14 second car a greddy turbo kit should do the job.
If you just want to go a little faster, the car should respond really, really well to less weight. The lighter the rims the better. Of course, swap will really help you.
I put Kosei 15" Rims w/ S03's on, and I'm slower, but yeah, I am only pushing 100 some HP with my CX hatch. Intake and exhaust helped a little!
