Engine Swap for a 92 civic having trouble deciding

itr bro what else would you choose? what are your intentions for this motor? you want it to be a reliable DD turbo or N/A...the ITR mildly modified can be very reliable and at the same it will satisfied your needs...

Well, if you had a green, blue, or black '92 Civic hatch, I'd have told you to get a K20Z1; since you have a red Civic hatch though, you should probably go with the D15B6.

I marked ITR. Though if you put GSR on the list I would have checked that. Dunno how you put a motor like the F20 up there for consideration but not the GSR...weird ****...
it depends how fast you want to go, we all got a different ways...ALL MOTOR or TURBO??? for me I'm an ALL MOTOR guy, K20a in EG
no offense, but why would you want to put an OBD2 engine in your OBD1 car? The h22a type S is an OBD2 engine...
and why don't you make a decision on how much you have to spend, which is going to be the easiest, and your ultimate goal with the car. The B series are going to be the easiest out of the selections you have. The f20b and the h22a are going to be more difficult, requiring special mounts, and also cutting a hole in your car for the shift cable assembly b/c the h and f series engines use cables to shift...
