i am trying to paint mines but not sure what color

 

get the red wrinkle paint..thats so nice!!! i did that on mines.

i think paint it wit the color that match ur car color

 

i've had mine red, then i just wanted a more stockish look so i went with a black wrinkle. But DOHC motors look good w/red valve covers, NOT SOHC IMO

 

camo over wrinkle paint.

 

just get creative

Go with black.

The grease shows up less.

Wow, white. Never seen that. It's good to be different.

 

go get a can of high temp gray spray paint like 6 bucks. then grab a can of clear metalic .. TAKE OFF valve cover.. spray the gray (let dry) and do another coat.. then (let dry) then spray the clear metalic over it.. i did mine and my gfs civics and it is so nice.. i did the valve cover, battery holder, radiator holder, and couple lil things..

Paint it orange and black for holloween.

 

I have the 95 D16Z6 engine and painted it black w/ honda and vtec painted red
there are pics a few threads down.

 

white is H-O-T, but im a big fan of OEM stuff....im boring like that. Black wrinkle.
