Default Help with Skunk2 Intake Manifold

Hi Guys,

I am from Australia.

I have a EG hatch with a h22a conversion with hasport mounts.

I was thinking of getting the Skunk2 Intake manifold for my car.

But i was unsure if it will fit without any modifications.

Because my friend also has a H22a conversion but in his EK Civic and he

had to bash the firewall a bit to make it fit.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

i have one on my d16 and it hit the Brake lines on the firewall and still does when i dump the clutch. I wouldn't get skunk2 in my opinion get edelbrock, I lost horsepower due to too much air consumed.

Hey guys,

Because i am from australia. Skunk2 is my easiest option.

Do you guys know what other intakes i can use for my h22a and where i can get it from.

And a few people here in australia have put on the skunk2 intake manifold on there h22 and hav gained pretty good power figures

Thanks.

PS. Has anyone here done a h22a conversion in a eg and has put a skunk2 intake manifold on without any modifications

Venom makes an Intake Manifold for it too... I didn't know that Edelbrock made one for the H22...

Skunk2 will walk allover the victorx, venom or apc for that matter...dude those intakes are old school...the skunk2 is a perfect manifold for a engine running a little more compression and some bigger cams...this manifold will rock your world for sure...STR,VENOM,APC and whatever else brands that are sheetmetal suck!.....Unless the sheetmetal intake is designed for what you are planning dont use it.....skunk2 manifolds are designed for rpms up to 9k which is perfect for all motor and turbo apps that arent super rev happy...btw most builds peak well before 9 with this manifold.

full race makes the best manifolds, end of story.

but on another note, an h22 in an eg with a skunk2 manifold will have clearance issues.

Hey Strictly Business

So can you confirm that the Skunk2 manifold wont fit in my car without modifications...

Is this from experience or are you guessing.

Thanks
