Default Hatch Defroster Problem

Hello,
My hatch defroster is only working in two of the bars. Is there a kit i can buy to put new strips on the window? Or is there a better option?
Opinions and Constructive Ideas Please.
Thank You
-Ted

there is actually a fluid made for your very situation. You mask around the bar going across the window, and you apply this fluid after a thorough cleaning (applied like white out, a metallic looking solution), in two thin coats. It should restore proper defroster operation if applied correctly, and there is no circuit malfunction.

I've seen the stuff as well, at your general auto part stores. No idea what the name is. Maybe I'll look next time I'm there.
