After the lines have been reroute away from the TB. What do you do with the end connections on the FITV ?

when i did my coolant bypass mod, i went here http://www.92lude.com/coolant_bypass.htm

in stock form: block (out) --> TB (in) --> IM (out) --> block (thermo housing - in)

note that the coolant circulates from the block to the TB, thru the valve of the intake mani and back to the thermostat housing which is the block again.

in mod form : block (out) --> block (thermo housing - in)
IM(out) --> TB (in)

note the coolant from the block (out) goes directly back into the thermostat housing, which essentially is the block (in)

and the line from the IM (out) goes to the throttle body without any coolant.

Has anyone ever used a plate with a rubber gasket on it and blocked off the TB where the FITV used to be and completely removed it ? Or is that not possible because u still have the open connection on the TB ?
