Hey everyone, my mom has a 97 Accord SE,...4 banger auto, with less than 40,000 miles on it and it runs great except the idle drops to around 500 rpm and lower when you stop especially when the a/c is on. I replaced the plugs/wires,air filter but its not any better. It had this problem before replacing these parts but they did'nt fix it. The car does'nt get driven that much,obviously,but what could be wrong.

i belive i read somewhere Clogged EGR Ports could do this to your idle. Belive there are steps on how to clean them in the FAQ's If not click the red search and type in "rough idle" there are a few links about it and info on it all

alright. thanks, i think this will work and help me. just get some choke cleaner and follow the instructions.
