Hood Dampners and CB Hoods
Whats up everyone..does anyone know if the hood dampners will work ok with a carbon fiber hood? I'm pretty sure it will fit and all but, will the dampners put too much stress on the CB hood that it will strip the hole?

NRG just released some updated "half pressure" hood dampers that were designed for FRP & carbon fiber hoods - they also still work well with OEM hoods.
i'm pretty sure the other hood dampers will work fine on CF/FRP as well.. just pay attention when you are opening/closing the hood.

Will work fine. I have Teins on my c/f hood. Onlt the first inital compression of the dampners is very hard, as they are very stiff. Some people have managed to compress it on the ground first before installing...but other than that it will work fine.
ya NRG released those new half pressure ones. My buddy has those in stock only in CF finish.
I have the Top Secret Hood Dampers and those are also made for CF or FRP hoods.

I have NRG hood dampers and they work fine. Like some people did, you may have to compress them on the ground or some other way so you can "break them in."
