SO is this auction legit?? I've never heard of that model Civic even in the Japanese and European models. So $550 Gets ALL of that stuff, geez almost sounds to good to be true. What do you guys think??

I vote the auction is fake, or there is some really interesting catch with it. Read it over thoroughly if you are going to buy. I cannot see how this is so cheap for everything it includes.

Haha. Yea I saw that on 8thcivic also. The best part is I sent him a question asking him about it and he said that the first pic was generated, meaning it is a photochop. It looks amazing, but I know for damn sure that I am not gonna be the guinea pig on this one. I thought about it and its not worth the hassle right now. It is a pretty good chop though and that mugen lip is sexy.

here is some key info from that auction though
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">REGARDING FENDER CONCERNS - To be sure that there is no fender problems, here is the part number for the JDM Front L Fender: 60261-SNV-J00ZZ, the USDM Front L Fender is 60261-SVA-A90ZZ. So this clearly shows that there is no problem on the fitment, thank you.
REGARDING HEADLIGHT CONCERNS - Please note that you may require some wiring skill to connect the connectors of the headlight. This package includes connectors for the HIGH BEAM, SIGNAL and RUNNING LIGHT. The HID has its own connectors.</TD></TR></TABLE>

exactly, why not just do the CDM conversion.

The coupe is exclusive to NA only. There is a difference between the fenders of the coupe and sedan. The photoshopped Si looks good though. Sooner or later someone is going to pull this off.

Why do half of FG owners not realize this?

That guy has a lot of positive feedback. I doubt its some ridiculous scam all of a sudden to throw 166 transactions away.
The only real problem I see would be changing the fenders. Those headlights dont look like they would fit with the USDM fenders on. Even if you bought JDM fenders they may or may not fit our coupe. The easiest thing to do would be fabbing the current fender to fit.
Someones gonna do this soon and it will work just takes a little expertise, its not going to be bolt on. If I had the cash right now, Id do it.

thats what i was thinking, i would be willing to buy the headlights alone for 500 if there wasnt any modification needed.
fake auction

Very true, fender mods will be required and you'll need the brackets for the JDM Civic/CSX headlights. The only similarity that I can see between the sedan and coupe fenders exist around the A-pillar. Other than that there are differences up front around the headlight and down near the rocker panel. The hood looks identical to me. As for the bulkhead (if there is one) that could be a whole new can of worms there.
There are alot of talented bodymen out there. This can be done right without a doubt. Unless I had the talent, hook-up, sponsorship or won the lottery, I'd be all over this mod.

People do that all the time.
They sell small items to build credit and rep and then blow out on a "big scam"
The beauty of THIS ONE is that it takes 2-4 weeks to arrive, which gives ALOT Of time for you to realize you've been had, paypal to be closed out via check or transfer etc etc
It happened to me a while back in 00 on some CTR power folding mirrors
guy scammed 10 people in a week after having 100 +'s
I tracked him down and threatened to post his social and credit history via Equifax online and he refunded me
and a few others via Money order
