Default compression test results

2000 em1 Si
cyl 1= 170 cyl 2= 170 cyl 3=170 cyl 4= 170

the mechanic did it twice and the same numbers came out. does that mean my car is burning oil now?

sounds good. we compression tested my brother's second gen JDM B16 and the numbers came out 180-185 all the way across. don't worry, it's fine. As long as there isn't a difference of more than 40% between cylinders, you're fine.

kinda low, did the mechanic pull ur injector plugs and hold it a wide open throttle? On a b16a2, it should be around the 200 psi range

Yea, that is a little low. Did you do it at operating temp?

Must have been an error, since they are all consistant.

I have a 2000 GSR. Tested the compression today. 215 across all four. The nominal pressure is 213, mimimum is 135. Variation between cylinders is 28. Your numbers look fine.

lol... I tested my D15B8 the other day.

180 - ~10 - 200 - ~10

Carbon build up FTW. I'll be swapping it out tomorrow (weather permitting).
