Default CEL, when @ 5200-5600 RPMS

<U> My car 1995 Civic EX coupe w/ D15B vtec swapped, stock virgin P28</U>

So I am in 5th gear on the highway, I drop it to 4rth gear WOT it and about 5200-5600 ( I don't remember, but it was around 5K, pretty high) and CEL comes on. So I quickly turn car off then on (while still driving) codes goes away. Do the same exact thing and CEL comes on again!

So at high RPMS CEL comes on.

The code is #22 Two long 2 short blinks

<U>I have done the following since the code:</U>

Swapped out the WHOLE vtec sensors with a new one,
Wired VTEC Directly to my ECU with my own wires to A4 and D6 on the ECU

I have ALOT of black SOOT ALL over the rear bumper, I always have alot of black soot, I can litterally write words with my fingers in the black soot on my rear bumper

HHHHHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPP<U></U>

OBD1 no knock sensor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D15B VTEC OBD1

ok, so I noticed, if I were to get on it in first gear or even downshift into second and rap the rpms all the way to 7K the CEL doesnt come on, the cel only came on when I was on the highway traveling at a constant speed and only did it when I downshifted from 5th into 4rth and mashed on the gas and took it to 5K+

The code is for #22 Vtec pressure solenoid.

I put a brand new solenoid in!

Whoa, calm down there. OBD1 B16A's have a knock sensor, that's what made me guess that. It was just a guess.
