Default on the road again!!

my car is finally back on the road, ive been building the engine since march of 2005. i worked on the engine in a spare bedroom in my house. it took me over a year to get it how i wanted it to be. the block is a c5. and the head a b16. nothing was wrong with the A1 that came out of it, i just thought it was time for a upgrade. so i pulled the A1 in march of this year. had the tranny completely rebuilt and an LSD added to that. and while all of it was out had the bay painted. add i took my time putting it back together. even had the suspension powder-coated. new everything on the front end, except for stuff that will be replaced soon.
it wasnt all peaches and cream getting it to where it is now, this was the first time ive ever did somthing like this.
it runs good except for at idle, anyone have any ideas what it could be? keep in mind it only has 170 miles on it. everything is still new. and its running on a LS ecu.

Yeah would you run that set up on a LS ECU? But what is the ideal like, what is it doing?

Try any of the following ECU's P28, P30, P72 or P73 and see how it runs on that...And then hit us up!

ive got a P28 with a S300, i havent got it hooked up yet. the local speed shop says '' i need to break it in on the LS ecu. the idle is bouncing between about 1100 down to 400 rpm. the throttle body is new (skunk2) it likes to stick when i let of the gas at 2000 rpm. i have to tap it to get to go down.

the idle issue is definately because of the ecu. use the proper ecu. and i HIGHLY doubt you have to break it in on an ls ecu. you just cant bash on it during the break in period.

You should try the VTEC ECU first and see if it still does it, because that is the easy fix, but if continues then do what I mentioned above...
