I have never heard of a 30 day wait...I got mine imopunded under same circumstances, Suspended liscence; I had it out of impound withing 4 hours, costed 80$.
So the 30 day wait is TOTALLY new to me.
My vehicle is under my mothers name for insurance purposes, so I had to get her to release it from impound, she had to be present with title, and proof of insurance.

they should release the car now that you have you license back. go to the police station and show them you license and they should give you a release form to get your car out

try hitting the police station up... without a release form from the police the car will be there for 30 days.. happened to me 2 times in my younger days....the 30 day hold has been going on for well over 3 yrs now.. if you have a lawyer friend they can give you advice also u probably have a restricted licences now

i paid for my reinstatement fee and everything yesterday.. they gave me a license i can use righ now on some piece of paper.. so i go back to the police station and show them my papers and i should get it back?? >.<

...all you need is a release...this just happened to me b/c i had the wrong plate on my car...it was my mom's and we both have delsols....so i didn't know...well cops don't care about anything but makin the $...so they impounded my car....i just went to them with everything in hand....and they gave me the car the next day...no big...

30 day impound is only mandatory if you get caught street racing in the state of California and for DUI or DWI
