Default Car won't rev past 3k

I have a crx with a b16 swap and the car won't idle (fixed idle part now wont rev). I am getting spark and fuel. When i starter fluid in the intake manifold and it will fire and idle for a little bit, but then when i try to rev, it dies. it almost sounds like a vacumm problem but i have the vacumm lines match up to the diagrams i found here on HT. Any suggestion? My plug that goes into the TPS is really loose could that be the problem?

it goes up and down between 1.5 and 2.5 then when i try to rev it will up, it will rev to 4 and dies. how did you fix the problem? Problem started when i tried to put a skunk 2 itm, so i thought it was it. Put the stock itm on and still have the same problem.

1) Make sure that timing is correct. (Off a tooth?)
2)Make sure you have plenty fuel. (When have you replaced the fuel filter? fuel pump working correctly, right size? Fuel rail good?)
3)Right injectors? Bad injectors?

There are two sensors in that area that will plug into each other... dont remember which ones.. but that might be something to look for.

1) Make sure that timing is correct. (Off a tooth?) - Checked and made sure the cams arrows are pointed in the correct place, and check the red line on the pulley and everything was within spec
2)Make sure you have plenty fuel. (When have you replaced the fuel filter? fuel pump working correctly, right size? Fuel rail good?) Replaced with stock fuel pump and filter, can here fuel pump kick on and when i take off the return fuel line, i have fuel come out.
3)Right injectors? Bad injectors? Stock injectors, when i unbolt the fuel rail and expose the injectors it sprays.

any other suggestions? Checked and made sure all my wiring is connected good (TPS plug is little loose and not sure i have good connection) have all the ground wires grounded.

TPS and MAP plugs fit interchangeably. a bad MAP can cause the car to bog like that. try swapping those plugs, then check to see if your MAP sensor works. check CELs

I looked at the MAP and TPS sensor and the way it sits on the harness, there is no way that i plugged them in the wrong spot, I really have to pull on the harness to get the MAP sensor plug on the TPS, so I dont think that is the problem. about checking the CELs I can not find the plug under the glove box that you need to jump in order to see what codes you are throwing.

Any other suggestions?

Will try to clean it with carb cleaner tonight. On that note, when pulled the engine out i noticed that i pulled the wires from the plug on the IACV. Now how do i know if i have the wires in the correct place.

Clean IACV, and still no luck. After some additional searching i think my car is in limp, because it won rev past 3k.

Few questions
1. How do i check cel, i know that there is a plug under the glove box the you can jump wires, but i cant seem to find that plug. the car is 89 crx with 1st gen b16
2. there are 2 plugs to the left of my oil filter-
one plug has a single nipple on it- I think it is Oil prssure plug. Can some please confirm? Yellow circle in pics
then there is one that is green with two nipples on it, what plugs into them- and how do i know which wire goes where? I am thinking that it is the plug that is circled red in the pic
And the blue circled plug- is that a coolant plug on top of the thermosat housing? Does every motor have it.

3. One last thing. Does anyone have a close up pic on this diagram and a list of what the bumbers are. http://b16a.honda-perf.org/Tech/KNOCK.jpg
