so whats your question? do you know what obd is? 96 up civics are obd2 and people convert to obd1 cause its better for tuning.

well i have a 98 hatch so its OBD2, should i go with the 0BD1 conversion beacause im going to turbo it soon and im going to have a friend of mine tune it..

I'd recommend getting a conversion harness. There is a lot of 'em sold here on HT for around $99. You will need that if you plan on running a standalone such as Hondata, etc..

Otherwise you can still run OBD2 with MSD and FMU but I wouldn't recommend it.

96-98 are obd-2a
99-01 are obd-2b

just go obd-1 much easier
