what Muffler is to big?

what Muffler is to big?

I have a del sol and im doing my own piping, but wanted to know what size muffler to get....im looking a 2 1/2"or 3". What do you guys think i should get?

2 and 1/2... 3 is to big and you will loose some power.

3s even to big unless your making close to 400hp My civic running 2.5 at 300hp and the sol running 2 1/4 allmotor but going to 2.5

so 2.5 it is....i thought it was that size but never changed my piping so wasnt to sure...thanks
